Manufactured by Kamen Helicopter Corporation, this four crew helicopter is designed for the navy as an AntiSubmarine Warfare (ASW) platform deployable on destroyer or frigate class ships. Powered by two T58-GE turbine engines, it can carry 15 sonobouys, Magnetic Annomoly Detection (MAD) towed array, 8 smoke marker bouys, and a single torpedo. Normal endurance without the torpedo and with two auxilary fuel tanks installed is two and one-half hours.
